So lunch time rolls around yesterday and I have no idea what I want to eat and haven't eaten all day so I'm howngry (not a mistype). I drive around Culver City and find nothing appealing and then I drive past an El Pollo Loco and remember that Sherrie told me their new "chicken carnitas" were good. I pull a u-turn, which p.o'd the guy behind me and I pull into the drive thru. Now I'm looking at the menu and see that they offer a chicken carnitas burrito and since I was howngry, I figured that would hit the spot. I tell the talking box I want that and then pull up to the window. As I was waiting for my food I realized that I just ordered a $5.89 plus tax burrito and started thinking what an idiot I am. I can get a carne asada burrito at LT's for around $3 and it's a good size burrito. I also can't cancel my order because the process had already begun and it would upset whoever took my order. So I bit the bullet and paid $6 and some change for this thing.
It was a decent burrito, but no $6 worth. It was the fact that it didn't even come with a drink or side...it was a la carte! Okay, I'll get of my soapbox and deal with the fact that I was a clown yesterday for purchasing a $6 burrito.
That's all I got for today...beware of the crazy chicken!
