Hey everyone, I feel like a total tool as I type this in a Toluca Lake Coffee Bean on my new Mac. There are like half a dozen more people just like me in here all on Macs. What do I expect so close to the NoHo Arts District. Anyway, I recently got a new MacBook Pro (shout out to my cousin for his help!) and started editing the backlog of projects that I have. Anyway, the big draw for the Pro is that is has 2 graphics cards installed which allows for better performance when editing, making music, photos, pretty much anything creative. The only thing is that you have to switch between the 2 cards manually. I had no idea, I figured that since we've come so far in technology that the Mac would determine which graphics card to use based on what program you were working on at the time. I don't think that's too much to ask, but no, now when I want to start an editing project I have to click the little battery icon, go to energy saver preferences and switch to higher performance as opposed to battery saver. Well, now all you MacBook Pro owners know and remember to switch cards when you work on your creative stuff. A little public service for you all.

On another note, today (May 12) is my birthday and I went to Disneyland for free and had an awesome time. There were practically no lines and I was able to hit all the attractions I wanted to. I also hit up Space Mtn twice! It was a lot of fun and thanks to all of you that wished me a happy birthday via Facebook, email or SMS text. Although my little bro gets mad props for actually calling me.

Hope all you people are wonderful and thanks for reading...tell your friends!
