So like I mentioned in my previous post, I've been taking the bus to go to work. It's been an amazing experience and I'm saving on gas. There's only one thing to complain about thus far and it's a BIG one (that's what she said).
On Monday I rode the bus like any other day. Everything was normal and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Now before I tell you what happened let me mention that I take one bus from work and connect to another bus that takes me to the Park-n-Ride in the Valley. So, I'm on the first bus and we get to the stop across the Century City Mall which is at the intersection of Constellation Blvd and MGM Dr (not sure why I feel compelled to tell you the intersection). It is now 6:40pm and my connection leaves at 6:50pm and is only a couple of stops away. The Bus Driver lady turns to the 3 of us left on the bus (everyone hopped off to go to the mall) and says, "I'll be right back." So I think it's a little unusal, but figure she's going to make sure everything's okay with our bus or something to that effect. I then saw her grab her purse and thought that was a little weird. She proceeds to walk across the street, go up the steps leading to the mall and disappears in the crowd of shoppers. The guy sitting next to me gives me a look and I just shrug my shoulders. 1 minute passes, 2 minutes pass...a total of 15 minutes go by before I see this woman again! I'm praying that my connecting bus is late, but lo and behold I missed my bus back to the Valley and am stuck in Century City. It just so happened that Sherrie was working a function in Santa Monica, but I had to walk to her which was a nice 4 mile walk. Now the walk didn't bother me, but the fact that I lost my whole night because some bus driver wanted to window shop (she didn't even have any bags) just infuriates me. I had plans that night and they all had to be changed because of some woman that didn't do her job!
I'm getting all upset just posting this so I'll cut it short. Also, to top it all off I called to complain and they were closed and when I called the next morning I got a "Your call cannot be completed at this time, please try again later", it was like I was being mocked! I wrote an email, but haven't heard back and am on hold waiting to speak with someone as I post this.
Thanks for letting me vent and has anyone had a similar experience?
Dueces!

My bus was in an accident and we had to report it and wait for an hour to finally have another bus take us to the trolley. I was really mad, because I was suppose to be at work and they sent me home =(.
